Teleserie y radionovela recrea historias cotidianas de violencia, crimen y pobreza que ocurren a lo largo de la frontera entre Ecuador y Colombia. Los dos primeros capítulos que ComVoMujer aportó, enfatizan la prevención y combate de la violencia contra las mujeres, especialmente indígenas, rurales y afrodescendientes; además denuncian la trata y tráfico de mujeres con fines de explotación sexual.
